Graphically well produced submission which has allowed you to develop your skills in graphic/CAD layout, also allowed you to show your strengths in layout, colour and typography.

My final year self-devised project focuses on topics surrounding the struggles of fuller busted Gen Z women and their relationship with clothing. When beginning the project the initial gap, problem, need were to highlight the dismissal of the fuller bust demographic in fashion. My proposed solution to fill this gap was to reinvent the portrayal of quintessential body standards therefore initiating advancement in the fashion industry. My final outcome was a subscription box rental service ‘Tig Bittie’ featuring monthly collaborations with the consumers favoured brands and influencers, concentrated on tops, dresses, and jackets owing to the fact the consumer faces difficulties when purchasing these items specifically.
For my secondary outcome I created the ‘Tig Bittie’ app. The main features of the app include the subscription service, a user profile, and feed in which they can share or review shoppable outfits. My outcomes aim to ease the stresses of shopping for fuller busted individuals, ensuring all items are appropriately suited to their shape and available all in one place. This therefore significantly reduces time and effort spent searching while lowering the risk of ordering carelessly represented clothing. Not only this, but the service strives to drive sustainability, tackling the wastefulness of fast fashion by acting as a rental service.
Throughout this project I was able to display and improve upon an extensive range of skills, from branding and packaging design, to art direction, to basic research analysation skills which helped underpin the project. During the process I furthered my graphics skills enabling me to successfully create an innovative, engaging brand.
